classic hummus
It is extremely rare that I get store bought hummus these days. While I think those are still delicious, they are usually loaded up with additional unnecessary oils that I want to avoid and will stick with making my home-made version. It's simple, fast, and just a few basic ingredients. Add a little sriracha for a bonus kick. Serve this with veggies, pita, crackers, salads, add it as a spread to sandwiches and burritos.

2 tbsp tahini

2 cloves garlic
-
1 squeezed juice of lemon
-
sea salt to taste
-
sriracha (optional)
method:
-
Drain and rinse can of chickpeas and add to a food processor and blend.

Add in the rest of ingredients and continue to blend to desired consistency. If you like it thin, add a tiny bit of water at a time. If thicker, use less lemon juice and water.
